If you would like to make Evolution Mail your one stop for everything, including following and reading RSS from new and blogs, open up a terminal and use this command:
sudo apt-get install evolution-RSS
After installing this, go into Evolution and from the menu go to EDIT > PLUGINS and checkmark the Evolution RSS. Thats it!
