Ever got stuck with a large lossless file?
Then Flacon is what you need. It will extract into individual ones a large audio file might it be APE, FLAC, TTA, Wav or WavPack. It really does it all giving you the choice to easily extract towards AAC, FLAC, MP3, Ogg, Wav and WavPack with total control of the output file.
Built around Python, the user friendly interface will let you work on one file or a whole folder. It will also connect to CDDB to update the tags if needed.
Flacon 0.6.0 comes with:

The GUI has been further enhanced to give the best possible experience to seasoned users and newbies alike. Being multilingual Flacon is available in Czech, English, French, Polish and Russian.
Installing Flacon in Ubuntu: Add the ppa and install the latest version of Flacon on Ubuntu Lucid, Maverick Natty and Oneiric using the commands below (versions of mac and ttaenc can be there as well):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:flacon/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install flacon
