Edit
For many of you making the switch to Ubuntu, or those of use who have used Ubuntu for years now have probably heard of Inkscape. Inkscape is an open source vector graphics SVG editor. It can be daunting when first attempting to use it and even I, with a design background did not really want to touch it. Well, there is a great website to get your hands dirty and start learning this powerful program.
Screencasters has created a great website with Inkscape video tutorials. This is how I first got my hands dirty using Inkscape and you can too. There are a ton of video tutorials to take you from a basic user to a pro. There are even 10 micro episodes too. I highly recommend the Screencasters site if you have been thinking about Inkscape, but have yet to get into it. Check it out!
