Kubuntu - Day #2

Kubuntu is easy to use. And if you are coming from a Windows system, whether its XP or Windows 7, Kubuntu is going to feel close to home for you. One of the nicest parts about Kubuntu is its ease of customization. Dont like the trash can on your bar? Remove it. Want a fave app there instead, well no problem at all.

Kubuntu has a nice easy to use menu system. Click the bottom left logo and you'll get the menu. Favorite programs, Applications, Folders, recently used files and a nice logout or power down menu. (click em to see full size)

 

 

Thinking back, I probably should not have customized my Kubuntu for these blog posts, but its so easy to use with everything in the same places, you will figure it out.  See you tomorrow :)
